The bar, showers and toilet facilities are great and definitely represent some of the value of the sun lounger fee. The staff are visible and attentive and ready to take your food and drink orders. A taxi from Argostoli harbour to Makris Gialos beach was only 10 euro and this was money well spent. The water was crystal clear and calm. We felt very safe on the beach and lounged on the soft sand until it was time to head back to Argostoli..
